A Boeing Delta IV Heavy rocket, slated to fly its first operational payload in Fall of 2005, arrives at Cape Canveral, Florida on a massive Delta Mariner ship following a 1,400 mile trip from its Decatur, Alabama manufacturing facility. Each of the three Common Booster Cores (CBCs) that make up the vehicle measure 150 feet long. This marks the first time a full, three CBC Delta IV Heavy configuration has been transported by the Mariner to Cape Canaveral.
