On July 5, 2018, Boeing announced a new livery system for the 747-8 Intercontinental and the 737 MAX, 787 Dreamliner and 777X families. Anchored in blue — a color long associated worldwide with the Boeing brand — the new look drives a visual consistency that mirrors the commonality across Boeing airplane families, company officials said.
Among the most noticeable of changes is integrating the 777X family and 747-8 Intercontinental into blue from burgundy and orange palettes, respectively. The 777-9 will be the first airplane to be painted in the new livery system.
Other refinements to the livery include emphasizing the family name, which now replaces the minor model on the nose and aft fuselage. A larger Boeing logo, a family color palette and consistency in sweeping lines, finishes and belly and wingtip markings (as applicable) complete the look.Photographic Prints are printed on high gloss, heavy photographic paper using the finest Canon archival inks.
